Trainer Julia
– Certified Dog Trainer CPDT-KA
– BA Cognitive Science, USC ✌️
– Specializes in shy and sensitive dogs, high drive/energy breeds, fun tricks/stunts, puppy socialization, leash reactivity, and multi dog households
– Has two of her own dogs, Hammy the mini poodle mix and Honey the border collie mix
– Absolutely obsessed with dog sports! Earned multiple titles in tricks, disc dog, and barn hunt. Trains in nose work and competition agility as well.
Day Training/Basic (during daycare)
60 minute individual day training session covers some or all of the following (available most weekdays):
-Leash manners
-Recall
-Basic commands (Sit, down, wait, come, leave it)
-Various Tricks (Spin, Roll Over, Speak, Shake, High Five, Play dead, Crawl,Backwards Walking, Bow, etc.)
-Fetching
-Searching
-Nose work
-Agility
-Lure Coursing
Structured walks w/ trainer (during daycare)
Our trainer will take your dog off site for a structured walk for approx. 30 minutes.
This is a great enrichment activity* during daycare to have your dog learn how to behave and walk on-leash. This is not a full training session, but they will learn good manners and our trainer will reinforce good on leash habits.
(If your dog has any allergies, please bring your own treats for training).
*If you have a leash reactive dog, we need to start with a private training session before the structured walks.
Enrichment session (during daycare)
Some activities during the 15 min or 30 min session may include:
- Snuffle mat – nose work
- Wobbler Kong play – nose work
- Trick training – exercise
- Puzzle time – brain work
- Tug of war – brain work
- Fetch – exercise
- Red egg chase – cardio
Private lessons & board/train services
Private lessons (in person or virtual)
Our trainer can come to you at your home (or location of your choice) for a 60 minute session with you and your pup. She can also meet with you virtually.
We can work on some issues you are having in your home like jumping, separation anxiety, counter surfing, crate training, puppy proofing, housebreaking, basic manners and more.
Board & Train
We offer 2, 3 & 4 week board and train services. Your pup(s) will stay in our trainer’s home with her family and dogs. They will train throughout the day and send updates with pics and videos throughout their stay.
You will also receive at least one (1) complimentary private lesson at the conclusion of the board & train stay. Longer stays will have multiple private lessons after the stay.
